Remembering from the 1970s but H2LO was fair and dedicated, both to Physics and sports (a voluntary activity, someone has to do it). Inspiring for physics and firn but fair.
Mr Hosford was my physics teacher in 1981. I have since gone into engineering. He was a great influence. He was also a kind gentleman. I wish I could see him again to thank him.
Absolute legend. Danced the twist to help us understand something in physics. For the first 3 months of first year I was compleatly convinced he was from france!!
Loved him, just for the tuck shop - chocolate fish 'n' chips he sold - I've been looking for them since I left in 97! Still haven't found them! Which cash and carry did you get them off Mr.Hosford?
He's a nice person, it's just that the amount of notes he gives seems lacking in the detail needed for the Leaving Cert. But his phone ringing every 3 minutes is just annoying!!
I was awful at physics. Fortunately, Hosford is a legend, so just sitting in his presence was brilliant. Used to let me skip the queue for tuck shop!
Nice and all as he is, nightmare of teacher. He kept leaving the room to make match appointments!
Right up there with Frank Sinatra in the cool stakes. Had a great time in his class; his comments can be hilarious! And a damn good teacher too. I love Wally!
Great man! H2-L-O. Most fun class i ever had in andrews. Mr H we salute you.
Made physics(a difficult subject) interesting and relative
Mmmmmmeh, meh, mmrrrrrrrmmmmeh. Mrrrrmmm meh, meh, mrrrrmmmm, meh. SINGLE FILE!!!
what a legend - knows his stuff and gets through all material quickly and interestingly
He's Pure old-skool cool. Senility been creeping in for the last 10 years though.
Mr Hosford was brill, unfortunately I had absolutely no interest in Physics at all but I enjoyed his classes the most!
Good all-rounder, fair, makes science interesting, involves pupils in practical work, ensures syllabus is completely covered with plenty of time for revision
