Tom, Thanks for imparting a gra for the language. Now I have tatoos of naked women on my arms I 'll never have to study gramar again. Rest in peace a chara.
I will remember your stories go deo na ndeor. R.I.P Tom
Mosh I'm sorry, but your drone voice used to put me asleep....I think you even forgot I was even IN your class - What did you teach again..mmm was it Irish?? No wonder I failed!
Fantastic Teacher/ Entertainer, learning made fun(if there was any learing to be had)
Most entertaining teacher I ever had - better at English than Irish though. Wish I'd had him for my leaving cert instead of just the junior cert.
what a guy made Irish classes bearable with his wit and story telling, not the best at imparting his knowledge of Iish tho
Good man Mosh. About time you hung up the chalk... You were never much good at teaching anyway, even though ur a gentleman..
Wasnt the best teacher but his classes were pure entertainment. Instead of learning irish we learned the life story of Tom Murray.
thinks he's the man of the school. Tells the same stories over and over again
Learned more in one class with him than i learned in 2 years with mick byrne
As an Irish teacher he was awful. But has the most amazing acting ability I've ever seen. A legend.
very entertaining but cant actually remember being taught anything.loved him
Great irish teacher, especially with people who have problems with/understanding irish. I passed my Leaving cert irish because of him thanx Mr.Murry ;-)
Spent all class time giving us his anecdotes (in english), only then to blame us for being behind.
A great seanachaí. Great storyteller. Interesting classes. Oscar wilde expert. Funny.A pleasure.Thanks. Karl
I concur with the last two posts (being as I was classmates of theirs). I just hope today's class appreciates him for all he is.
a performer, every class was a monologue we were the audience, pupils even had character names, entertaining man, very intelligent too, learned a lot from him
