took our class for latin in 1st year absolutely brilliant. i love this man. i am really sad to see him leave but i think whirdy will carry on where he left off
Really cared for everyone and gave the best free-period classes. zaga will go down the toilet. he was/is/will be the epitome of gonzaga. so long "#1 school in ireland" the choir is lost forever (2002)
Had him back in first year for chem. It was the first time in 13 years he had taken a class. Best classes ever. (when he was there)
he is a truly great man. i am saddened to hear he has resigned as of last night even though we were told he would remain in the school till 2011
what wud gonzaga be without him. hes the coolest man in the world luv him to death
A great man,and headmaster-however,did some underhanded things to myself and others in class of 2002
what a ledge! student "thats a big portion sir," potts "a big portion for a big man"
Deserved to be expelled on 2 occasions early on; but he recognised certain problems and helped dig me out of a hole.Sympathetic and superbly competent.
Class act and always has been...especially when he was in Greendale. One of the lads. Brilliant guy and an even better VP. Class Munster 1986.
A great man who embodies perfectly the spirit of the school.A fantastic personality with the intelligence to match.Class of 99.
Class of 2000. Don't let him fool you. The man is a pompous snob. Didn't pay for the pizzas he 'bought' at Opera Party. Fact. CEO, me don't thinks!
there is only one word to describe him. LEGEND where would we be without him.
A good guy with a booming voice. A love of food keeps him going , he wouldnt be the same without his gentlemanly girth
Gave me E20 for altar serving at Christmas. Coolest guy ever!
amazin teacher and headmaster managed to get me through to ucd what a legend
More aware of what's going than you'd think, uses his position and personality as best he can to steer the school in the right direction and encourage pupils
Thoroughly decent man. I couldn't have imagined Gonzaga without him. Often thought he carries the whole place. Tough but fair. Class of 2000
"Don't let the [email protected] grind you down" The best piece of advice any teacher or principal ever gave me. A wise, patient and generous man. Class of '94
Best Headmaster ever - Learned a lot from him. Class of 99.
One of the nicest and most generous people you will ever meet, particularly if you are a prefect. Cant say enough about the man.We all loved him- class 2004
a lovely man but whats with all the gaelic hating. this school needs a soccer team not another chess victory
His dedication to Gonzaga is unbelievable,he could walk into a position as a C.E.O. of any firm in the world yet he stays,we are truly blessed to have him.
Very good principal although clearly favours certain pupils over others and dedicates a lot more time to the former
Very nice man, runs the school well. Hope he stays principal, wouldn't fancy having the bitter Whirdy as top man.
Potts can tango with the best of them. Principal of the millenium. 2B are the worst form ever.
got me through school, i.e. performed a miracle. class of 99
If you are considering robbing a milky way bar off him, think again.
Couldn't be a better man for the job. Best around without a shadow of a doubt.
Best principal in the country without a shadow of a doubt.
