If it was not for Mr. O'Sullivan, the best maths teacher I ever had (including later in Bolton St.) I would not have developed a genuine interest in Maths & I wouldn't have become an engineer.A legend

I had Pat for only one year (late 70's). Best teacher I ever had. Kind, intelligent, always appreciated effort (right or wrong). Gifted, gifted teacher. A wonderful man. Students: appreciate him.

Inspiration and his classes were like theatre. As formmaster think he even rang my folks to tell them how I was getting on and where I needed to improve. Top man and best teacher.

She taught to those who listened. She was natural, a real person, without ego (unlike the less talented Mr Walshes...). Students talked during her classes, but she always had a certain respect.

Had Pat from 1979 to 1983-By far the best teacher ever to walk in the front gates of Salle. Very logical and clear-takes non nonsense-Should go to the Institute-Would steal the show there, Go on Pat

Great teacher. Used to organise a game of 'charades' (as gaeilge) with the class every friday afternoon. Sound guy, good for a laugh. Always enjoyed his classes.
