hes pretty good, like him. not the best but hes still good. we do fun stuff most of the time!
My favourate teacher. I had hi in first year and he was an absoloute gentleman. A class act and I wish I still had him as a teacher!
Best teacher I ever had. He's the reason I went on to study English at University. Loves his subject and his enthusiasm was infectious. Found him to be quite a softy too!
a nice man basically, I keep bumping into him in the super market etc, and he remembered me too. I never really fell out with him on anything
ahhh hes cool as long as u dnt get on his bad side (like me)lol
twenty years later and I still think of this teacher.
Anyone who doesn't find this man brilliant, needs to have his head examined. Wonderful teacher, inspired me a lot, and introduced me to the world of Terry Pratchett.
You can't beat a class with tubsy, one of the best teacher in the school. And me and him share an interest in the collective works of Terry Pratchet
mr tubby was my form teacher in 1st year, was also my teacher,i love the guy, macbeth play, had great time with it,encouraging.loved his classes, cool teacher,go tubs
a passionate, kind and considerate man....his love of drama was infectious and 10 yrs after leaving school i still remember him with affection
Mr T is my 4th yr English teacher,I love english with a passion now.Hope he continues teaching me 4 L Cert. Frm French yr pro guy :)
Introduced us to loads of different aspects of english and writing. Hated standing on his box giving a speech but at least it was something different
The TURBO is an effective teacher. Don't mind those eejits who said he could't teach. He can.
never had him for a teacher but does nobody realise he's the 4th year co-ordinator? we have one of the best transition years in Dublin. dont be so critical!
One of best teachers I ever had! Still love GM Hopkins!! Brought English to life. Still remember you 15 years on!
Absolutely FAB man!He was such a help when i was preparing the leaving cert.I loved his class. Really easy to talk to and extremely helpful.
"take out a shlice of paper!" the words bring a chill to my bones.a good teacher, really really into drama, rarely saw him if he was putting ona play,no complaint
"Take out a schlice of paper." hahahahahah! thanx for taking the class to the merchant of venis!even tho im not in ur class anymore u still took me:)
I thought he was great, even if he did make us read the grass is singing(horrible, book).
Ah the TURBO is cool. "Take out a schlice of paper."
Great teacher & gave me a love for drama...he also says "a slice of paper"! Gave me hours of enjoyment that phrase!
forth year was brilliant but now i want to pass the leaving not his journalism school! bring back jim!
doesn't seem to understand stuff he's trying to explain in classes himself, like literary genre for instance...also, lacks due respect for certain female poets.
really nice and very approachable. A good teacher- not obsessed with exams, which makes a refreshing change.
Lovely man.Puts on hiarious accent when reading Lies Of Silence!
Worst English teacher ive ever had. Wont take on board peoples comments or ideas in relation to school.
very nice man, but doesn't cover english course with detail, and is very unclear when explaining literature.
