If you ask her to translate a word from Irish to English, she says it back to you but in more complicated Irish. Group work will not get you a high mark in the Leaving Cert despite what she may think. There's a time and place for group discussions but LC Higher Level Irish is certainly not one of them. We just need to be given a list of notes WITH ENGLISH TRANSLATIONS and told to learn them off. You need to do a lot of extra work yourself to make up for her lack of effective teaching practices.
