Had Mr. Quinn in the '70s. Was he strict and tough? Yes, but I thought he was a good teacher and did a good job of explaining the fundamentals in both biology and chemistry. He prepared us well for Leaving Cert, arranging extra after-school and weekend sesions to ensure that we were ready. Mr. Quinn is responsible for my love of science and started me on the path to a career in chemistry. Two thumbs up and glad to hear that he is still teaching.
he need to learn to teach and need to stop picking on people
hes not as bad as everyone says. granted hes sarcastic and not the best teacher in the world but if u actually make an effort in class and listen to him it does make some sense!! aint the worst ever!
Cool teacher! knows his stuff. give him a hard time and he will give it back. very fair!!!
joe wed learn better if we wernt afraid to answer u or ask a question!! be nice man! we no ur not as bad underneath
i thought he was a great laugh...good teacher too...
V sarcastic i had 2 get grinds because he couldnt teach the subject.he can b a v scary man and not at all helpful.
Had to get grinds in his subjects because he never taught anything, just read the book and expected too much from his students! Made it clear he hated teaching!
Dedicated to all his classes and the school - found him to be an excellent teacher and great football trainer cheers Joe!!
I don't agree that he relied on the book. We did alot of experiments in our class and I found him approachable and knowledgable. He prepared us well for exams.
Text book teacher, no help at all to the future of pupils he read too.
