I had Jack for Science from 1st to 3rd 1996-1999 year and got a B in higher. He had a reputation for being strict when I was there but I found that if you treated him with respect he was sound. If u messed around he’d come down on you. The only time he ever looked disgusted at me was on sports day. Being a soccer man I’d never picked up a hurl and missed the sliotar in the long puck 😂. James Lyons
Had JR in 1999 when repeating my Leaving Cert in the Institute on Leeson Street. Got me from a D in Ordinary to an A in less than 9 months. Excellent teacher, you mess with him forget it. Extend him the courtesy and attention he deserves as a good teacher and you'll ace it.
Had jack for leaving cert maths in 2000. He was a legend of a teacher and such a nice man outside. Met him a few times and would always be asking how you are getting on. A lot of respect for this man

Had him for maths LC 2005. I failed but His teachings have got me plenty of Kudos with Dr. Stack, my maths lecturer. He was a good teacher, and a better classmaster
