Thank you Henry Flanagan. How lucky was I to have crossed paths with such a humble but true 'christian' of his calibre. One who was gifted with an abundance of talents that he shared tirelessly. He walked the walk.
Father Flanagan, was a kind, eloquent and brilliant educator ... perhaps unmatched amongst his peers. Creative, dignified, he was a single light, an artistic leader, a bright role model amongst a sea of grey.
Henry Flanagan was a genius. Sculptor, painter, Musician, organist, choir master. beloved teacher of English and History. He gave unreservedly of his genius to his pupils.A great man.
He was a legend, inspirational, a gentleman and a true christian in the best sense.
Fr Flanagan (Coot!) was an inspiration. He touch the lives of all who had the privilege to have been taught by him. I am honoured to have been taught by him. God Bless Coot!
The best educator I ever encountered. Hope he knew it!
Probably the finest teacher of Music, Arts and Crafts in all Ireland and a legendry sculptor, artist and choir master. A true christian who "walked the walk" in life and ministered the truth
