Commanded respect with his knowledge through vast, varied use of language, poems and quotes. A pleasure to have been his student and I'll never forget the man.
Made me appreciate poetic expression and admire subtly in the classics; something I'll pass on.
I regrettably have to keep this very short. I had him for Classics in his final year. It was an honour to to be educated by a legend and witness his final class. Sir, even though retirement may be confusing, just 'know thyself' and you'll be content.
The best teacher in the entire school, no, the country! A very knowledgeable man of many quotes, poems and stories alike. He loves what he teaches and has a great sense of humour; "A teacher would die in here if they didn't have a sense of humour". I hope he writes a book, it could be on anything and you would find it interesting. He knows the etymology of any word you can think of. He loves all languages; "We live in the world of language." I will never forget him! Venit, vidit, vicit.
Best teacher in the school :D I will remember him for the rest of my life. Knows alot of quotes, poems etc. Overall 10/10
500 characters cannot describe the brilliance of this man. Mr. Daly is without a doubt the best teacher in all of Ireland (in the Classics and English). A man of many quotes, a man that should be quoted. His knowledge is ever-expanding and his language is excellent. "We live in the world of language." Mr. Daly should write a couple of books to be published or something similar. I will remember this man for the rest of my days. Cogito ergo sum.
The best speaker in the school. Full of knowledge about life. Always enjoyed his classes esp doubles
Very nice man. He does stray off topic from time to time (one day he was talking about soccer). Has a huge mind full of classics
One of the few teachers who brought genuine passion, insight and understanding.
Very good speaker, knew everything about the arts, just found that he went off topic from time to time but nonetheless, a very nice man
Still the pool of knowledge, a joy to listen to. Thanks sir.
One of the best teachers I have had. Brought literature to life.

Excellent teacher, one of the best in the school. No time for messers, and made classics interesting. Sound as a pound.
This teacher has had a monumental influence in my life. Will always be worthy of my highest praise and thanks.
Joxer was a gentleman and a scholar. Couldn't have a bad word to say about him
Without Frank the gaelic team would be lost and without his sense of humour and nwild sayings everybody would be lost!!

Joxer was an inspiration to us all, through the love of what he thought and one of the few teachers who deserve the qoute "Oh Captain My Captain"
We never got anything done in his class...but what a man. "Now, to read the table of contents.." Turned me onto the classics in a great way. Thanks Mr Daly
"THE ONLY THING I KNOW IS, THAT I DONT KNOW ANYTHING" a great man for his quotes and a legend in the school.
Joxer! Virgil would have praised him. A man worthy of a classic epic poem (In Latin obviously)
Evening study with frank was the best craic ever.. Maith an fear O'Dáilligh!
absolute pleasure to listen to- very educated in both classics and english. Treated pupils with respect and like adults if they afforded him the same grace.
Great teacher! Had a great laugh changing from a 'Philistine' to a classical scholar! Gave the students a bit of respect!
A good teacher, but tends to digress a little sometimes! A brilliant Classics teacher - has a genuine flare for teaching this subject!
Maximum marks for Frank. An excellent inspiration. The classics class was just brilliant, a great laugh and a lot learned
"Some men are born great..." This man was one of the greatest. Both in the classroom and on the football pitch he was inspirational. Cheers Frankie.
Brought us all for Libations in Mchughs and Carburrys
