Be aware of his wit! He takes some getting used to following and he works you hard and works you well.
Its been a long time but I think Donnacha was a super English teacher. Changed my perspective on the subject completely if you were willing to learn he really got you thinking.
People, dont mistake obstinacy for genius. He was a very limited man,a pedant really. Bored the hell out of us and was very repetetive.
Sorry to contribute, given my great age. I had him in Colaiste Iosagain in the seventies. He belonged in a university, not a school. He was a genius.

Had him for Irish and English when i was there 10 years ago. Probably the only teacher i had who encouaged me to think for myself and outside the box which was a great help to me in college. Excellent

I had juicy lucey in 1999 and thought he was the bomb! His fashion sense is a bit out of this decade but he's a good teacher and all round cool guy.
