Had Ms. Harris for Irish. I hated Irish, particularly that awful, dreary novel Peig. Ms. Harris was a very capable teacher though, I passed Irish in my Leaving which was no mean feat considering my utter contempt for the language. So, thank you Ms. Harris for guiding me safely to the other end of that nightmare.
I didnt really like her when she was at the school infact no-one really liked her, but great teacher for Spanish and irish was very strit and used to go mad if u didnt know what question we were on in the book.hahaha shes retired now. the new spanish teacher is worse, i want her back now! haha
Cathy Harris was one of the best Spanish & Irish teachers. She was very helpful,& commanded her class well.Easy on the eyes too.
I had her for Irish in 1st year. Man that was a tough class. She can be very strict with 1st years. But that said she is a good teacher and genuinely wanted students to do well.
Had Ms Harris for Irish up to '90 LC, I wasn't that great but she was a good teacher and a nice woman; she was very professional, a trait I appreciate a lot more now having worked with some plonkers
I had Ms Harris for Irish in 1 & 2nd year in 1987-88, good teacher very strict i taught but she did mellow as class got older. I suppose she was firm but fair.
mrs harris taught me spanish frm 96til 01.I found her teaching skills were very professional.together with her teaching skills&humurous wit, she made learning spanish enjoyable

Tried her best, very dedicated but I still always seemes to fall asleep in her class.
Good teacher, must have been as I still have some grasp of Spanish language 15 yrs later
