Very pleasent and just in general a nice guy
I found Bruno to be an excellent teacher within the MPM Law module. He had a funny way of explaining certain law scenarios that were just drilled into your head (*PING*). Found him very encouraging and helpful. Nice guy!
Basically if anyone had a "problem" with Bruno it is that he does not do the work for them like other teachers, he does not spoon feed and why should he that is not why he is there, he is to the point, makes students think for themselfs as they should, if you have a question he will answer without a problem and explain until you understand. its lazy people that are giving out about him because he wont do their work for them. can have a laugh with him also but he doesnt tollerate timewasters
Found Bruno to be very knowledgeable on the subject but allowed students their own head. He didnt try to molly coddle students in the class which is good. Unlike other teachers he was genuinely interested in discussion on the subject.
I found him to have a very different and more pupil centered approach to his classes. This approach got the students to act and think for themselves and more importantly believe in themselves! I personally liked his subject as im a political nut myself :)
Bruno is a very able teacher . Throughout my time spent within his class i found him very helpful and informative. I consider any negative commons about him to be based upon the fact that he pushes students to achieve a degree of self knowledge of the subject instead of being led by the hand through his classes .
Firm but fair, I don't understand a lot of the negative comments here. He made the subject interesting and understandable and would stick with it until everyone in the class understood, repeating wher
If being a good teacher means copying and pasting off wikipedia then he is top class.really though, he is the most unclear, unhelpful teacher I have ever come across.
I think Bruno Gontier is a good teacher because he is passionate/enthusiastic about the subject he teaches. He encourages students to work for themselves and ensures that they have sufficient knowledge and skills to be successful on their own terms. He dictates his notes clearly which he has posted on the website for sutdents. He has a democratic approach to teaching. He aviods trivial time filling material and stimulates student to think independently. He has a good sense of humour but no nonesense allowed
Bruno is such an intelligent, clever and dilligent teacher. He is the one teacher in BCFE that actually loves his job, his subject and really tries to make law attainable for all.
I think there is someone with a grudge filling lots of these in. Bruno was a good and thorough lecturer, and always pleasant. He knew his stuff and was very patient. Admittedly he was not the ideal supervisor for dissertation, as I saw little of him and don't think I would have got a huge amount of advice from him. Law exam was too long & therefore too hard!!
What has everyone got against this professional, informed talented teacher? I think he's cool.
seems to find teaching very stressful and panics if u ask a question he cant answer. Should get some tips from Denis (the main man)
I disagree with the negative comments. I have found Bruno to be fair and delivers his points clearly. He looks out for the students. A good guy!!
Bruno is definitely one of the best teachers in bcfe. He delivers his point consisely and accurately. He is the most helpful and pfofessional teacher ever.
I think Bruno is one of the most helpful and kind lectures of BCFE, I had him for law, and I enjoyed his teaching methods.
He is so nice. A real gentleman. Always remebers his manners. And really knows what he is talking about.
I had done a law module before on a different course and I was dreading it again but I found his techniques clear and the subject then became interesting.
Ah he's alright... knows what he is talking about but finds it hard to diliver this point, this is of course in "My Opinion"
