An inspiration. A great laugh. A great teacher.
The best maths teacher I had. Provided the basis for my first class hons in Appliex Mathematics & Theoritical Physics from Queens in Belfast
The best! The very best.
very funny and easy to learn. makes maths fun but also learn
FAB GREAT TEACHER VERY FUNNY BUT SERIOUS AT THE SAME TIME,BRENDEN ALSO HAS GREAT WAYS OF TEACHING,ALWAYS WILL TO HELP YOU OUT.
Good laugh but can be a terrible teacher at times, still a living ledgend!
as an x pupil i could say he was the best teacher that school has ever had, he gave every pupil the same teaching no one was better unlike some of the others who are still there
Worst teacher ever... Not even interested! Glad he is gone.
Taught by Brendan Guildea years ago - he was Chucky back then. He was a fantastic maths teacher then and looks like he still is.
outstanding ability to relay mathematical information in a logical fun way! very underestimated but an absolute legend in skerries liked by all
Left this school in1986 even then he was very funny.
Did the lectures in Trinity, and for the first time in my life, I found myself interested, I repeat, INTERESTED, in maths. Incredible. Any of you who have him as a teacher are really lucky sons o' ..
He is a LEDGENT!!!!!! So funny... best teacher in da skool!
he is very funny nd he is from balbriggan like me and not that he has d same second name as me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ONCE COMPARED ME TO A SHOELACE AND A WET SOCK BUT HE DOES THE JOB AND HIS STORYS ARE BRILLIANT
i learnd more about the lotto der than i did maths. had him for ty an i was told by him that if ur late 4 class dont bother turnin up he dosnt care and he dosnt know who ya r
Great teacher if you're already good at maths, forget it if you need any help at all - he just ignores you
If you came to the class to learn forget it... but this man is a true legend. Highlights include "Costa Del Pass" and of course, "Steve Silvermint".
Wat a man. Cant wait for his new singles "You do the math" and "Theorem of Love". Northern boys love gravy.
A maths genius but not too great at getting it across, unless you paid for the grinds! Could calculate the odds mind you!
some less sociable nerd maths types dont appreciate the wit and charisma of this excellent teacher. the best teacher i had.
Didn't think he was much of a teacher or particularly wanted to be doing the job- as a mathematician myself now,I wouldn't rate him as highly as he does himself
Excellent teacher, time well spent in that class... Maybe he could do with a few more jokes to his stockpile.
can see how he can be great, but if you're like me and need a bit of motivation, you're on your own. still, you got the laugh
Maths is such an interesting class with him as the teacher!!! GREAT person and very helpful! One of my favourite teachers EVER!!!
In PASS MATHS HE USED TO COME IN, LEAVE SOME MATHS ON THE BOARD AND LEAVE. sHOULD HAVE BEEN SACKED.
Completely overrated. Uses rubbishy jokes and 'funny' stories to try and make up for his lack of natural teaching ability. Otherwise, knows his stuff.
teachers dont come much better.keeps class interested throughout.
great teacher, bringing me to kenya so hope he's as "funny" their as he was when he taught me!
Didn't even go to DE La...but what a great teacher...i agree wit the wannabe hippy statement!
INSPIRES WITH HIS SARTORIAL ELEGANCE. PREPARED TO GRIND AWAY ALL THE TIME.
graet dress sense great gambling, ask about the excursion to the grand national with aido in 2003, nah not true had a sore back.
Legend! The funniest guy ever! Uses gambling and bert n Ernie to teach complex maths! Genius!
Great teacher if you're good at maths. If you're not - see you in the "Costa del Pass"!! Used gambling to teach probability. Genius!
Yep, he does. Often tells a great joke during the class, or interesting story.
btw, because of him, I have an A2 in maths :-)
he has a facination with Sesame Street, as whenever he is going over simutanious equations, he brings up his two best friends, oh yes, Bert and Ernie! LEGEND!
